i did too!! and i tried to explain that to my friends who were all so contempt f*ckin with gamefly all the time. huge debate to laugh at now. cmon man the SINGLE PLAYER MODE is locked if its used?? really?? damn thats harsh man. that means even if i wanted to borrow the game from a friend theres no point playing RAGE. online is one thing but godamn offline pass now?? f*ckin  wow.


they never understood why didnt mind buying a game instead of renting it. I work, i pay my bills so i feel i can afford to buy a game I REALLY LIKE at full price. my theory was thats why you do your homework on a game the best you can before you buy it. i was never the type to just buy a game because im bored and then want trade it back to gamestop and dont get full price at all. and now look! this sh*t . i would have been salty!! im glad i have no problem either waiting for a price drop in a game or just buying the game period to have first day. its too much sh*t going on with games. i never get too comfortable with em.

I will not be surprised if the same thing happens with BattleField 3. COD MW3 or even SF X T. MK9 was the FIRST fighting game to join the onlinepass BS if the game is used...that right there is some scarey sh*t bro. sh*t after a while the next hottest fighting game will probably only let you do training mode if its used  

basically what that says with Rage now doing with them blocking single player mode features ( smfh) is theres no point in borrowing games between friends like before . those days are done.

No more game stores, no more retail stores selling the games and giving special discounts, no more black friday sales to get them. GONE. now all companies will open chains of their own brands to buy games from them only. NamcoBandai, Capcom, Sony, Microsoft and such have they own stores and you want that one specific game you would have to get it from that store in particular.  

super far fetched but heck the way things are going and they are wanting to maximize their own profits and cut down on middle mans already smaller take. ehhh imma watch this real careful but i too am glad i only buy new when i really want it ( now i am way more cautious tho) , wait till price comes down or just get a used game if i dont care about online for it.

mann dont say that sh*t bro . Nintendo is already borderline with it and its not so bad because i dont care much for their games.
This is why i do how i do. i never get comfortable with those discounts and all that other stuff because it wont last forever and after a while the game (the way sh*t go in economics) changes when the economy of things arent going to well so then companies have to take drastic measures. so i can see game companies doing that now

Thats why i only buy a game i know im going to like. if im not sure then im chillin on that. if i do buy the game im skeptical on then thats a year later after release. thats exactly what i did with with vanquished . i wasnt sure so i chilled. waited and it dropped to 23 bucks on amazon, got it and i liked it. if it was bad then well at least i got it for 23 bucks and i can trade it in for somethin new . Buying brand new games now is like playing chess. you have to be strategic about that sh*t now

This screws over anybody who wants to play the game once PSN and XBOX decide not to carry their accounts into the next generation. This also makes a huge mess for people in the future who want to play the games.
