Comic Book, or Fantasy characters you'd most like to see adapted to film.

For me its gotta be Green Lantern. With all the special effects that could be used to me this would be a no brainer with the right script.

On the Marvel end I cant begin to say how pissed I am theres not been a recent Captain America flick. especially after 9/11 when we needed a positive image of Americans. Ive heard reasoning of Cap being to Left Wing, and Liberal in his ideals about America to do a film in this time of war, WHAT?!

Hrmm... hands down an epic Marvel crossover. Something like the Infinity Gauntlet that uses the chracters from Spiderman, Xmen, Fantastic Four, Hulk (in the upcoming Edward Norton version  ), etc ect. Maybe a DC elseworlds Batman vs. Superman.

Either way everyone should keep your eyes peeled for Watchmen coming out next year. If you havn't read that series.. pick it up, its simply awesome. Written by the same guy who did Sin City.

Actualy Cap is in the works, its going to be the next movie to come out after Iron Man and the Hulk remake.
Then i heard they plan on doing Thor and then eventualy they are going to do an  Avengers movie.

But as for something ide like to see....
My frist thought would be Spider-Man 4 (with Bruce Cambel as Mystero)
Second idea, mabie a very well scriped and high budget Legend of Zelda movie

Only problem there is the Rock is slated to play Shazam/Cap Marvel. The samoan thing aside, the Rock hasnt exactly been striking gold at the box office lately.

Good to see Cap is in the works, bout time. My Captain America rant was more or less from the old screenplay that had Brad Pitt linked to play the character that fell through a few years back.

Its animated like the  Superman Doomsday DVD. It adapts the whole Terra/Slade storyline more like the Comic Book version.

I'd like to see a Quake movie made based on the whole Strogg vs Earth idea. Something like Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Quake 4. I'd also like to see a new Spawn film that is more like the comic book and a lot darker with more horror elements. A Duke Nukem movie would also be bad@$$.....heck I'm still waiting on that d@mn Duke Nukem Forever game...I should just give up waiting on that. Beyond those I'd also like see:

A new Swampthing
A good Doom film
The Creech
Evil Ernie
Ninja Gaiden
The Savage Dragon

Its just one of the most famous Titans stories written, thats why the Anime Toon did it too. This will tell the story from the perspective of the Comic Book, so you get see more of the Titans, and done in a more serious fashion.

Allthough I never minded the weekly toon. The episode where they crash on the alien planet where Cyborg get tore apart, and Robin, and Starfire address being Boyfriend, and Girlfriend was one of the most hilarious toons i ever watched baked.
