to tekken or not to tekken

im so undecided right now. i cant choose between tekken 5 or tekken tag. any one care to share opinions?

yea thats what i liked about that game...was the tag team mode. but tekken 5 comes with some baddass features too. it includes tekken 1,2, and 3.

Coming from someone who ones all the Tekken games (except PSP), i'd get T5. Both are $20 anyways. Just get TAG later down the road.

Nope, it's only featured in TAG.

I know how you feel man. I find it real hard to choose between 5 and Tag for my favorite Tekken game.

Tekken 5, if only for the value (includes Arcade versions of Tekken 1-3).

Still, Tekken Tag was a good game, albeit a wee bit of a letdown for me. It was, essentially, Tekken 3 + Concept of Mortal Kombat Trilogy + Tag mode.

tekken tag is too slow!! go with 5. If you have a ps3, get t5 dark ressurection for 20 beans online. The cpu puts up a harder fight on this version.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't go back to tag due to the lack of speed. I got Dark Ressurection for the ps3 and it was great!! I play with Micheal Jackson and own everyone !! But I'm a Paul fanatic and him and jin was my ttt team up. I switch between him and yoshimitsu with his bionic knee. But it's hard to go back for me on tekken. Not even 4....

Tag me all the way baby. I never mastered a fighting game like that one. I was unstopable with like... 8 or 9 of the characters. I got 35 wins in survival twice with Hwoarong/True Ogre. Don't know if thats impressive to other people or not... but it is to me and my friends. I did it twice... couldn't ever get higher than that.

If you can master that girl named Ling Xaiou or something she's unstopable... she's the last character I started learning before I just stoped having time to play it... she's the only character I learned that I didn't master. Very difficult to master.

I played tekken 4 in the arcades a few times... I wasn't very impressed. They took moves out. So I guess for the reason of I want the exact moves that were in tekken tag I'm biased. Hundreds upon hundreds if not more hours spent playing that game... and tekken bowl is the sh*t!! If you get bored fighting, play some bowling!

Is 5 out for the PS2? Or just the next gens...

5 is out for ps2. the ps3 has the update with revised stages, tekken bowling, sinister mugen like ai and some new and returning characters. unfourtunately, there is only two new ones on the roster. a girl who is not too interesting and a thugged out micheal jackson. for those of you who has a psp, you're not missing too mush cuz it's the same game, just with a new coat of paint. I don't have a psp yet, but I got the ps3 version and it is a worthy purchase just to humiliate your friends with micheal jackson !!

Your talking about Dark Resurrection? I didn't really think that Dragonuv looked like MJ. I thought he looked more like a mutated undead army Kazuya. That was my thoughts when I first saw him.
. One thing I can't stand though is the next game there's going to be a guy who looks almost exactly like Rock Howard. Then there's a guy who also where's Red and Blue and is blonde, but he's really fat. I don't know, maybe they know eachother.
Dude. What version of DR do you have? Because mine is missing bowling. Also does yours have a story mode?
