ight the production is looking way better. I STILL LOVE THE OLD CONAN but i think ill be able to digest this one here too from how its looking NOW. Pretty boy still dont look barbaric enough for me in my taste but i think ill get used to the image like i did with the dude in Hitman. i liked that movie. i thumbed it down before because i wanted Jason statham to be the guy (he turned the role down). The movie turned out entertaining anyway. not bad for what it was. didnt come out pretty wack like Max payne.

Doesn't really look bad but just don't see it as Conan. Could have given it another title and wouldn't of thought anything of it.

My only beef is that it looks like it borrows too much from the origional. Obviously that, and this is a tad pretty Conan as everyone seems to agree.

All though Star Gate fans will tell you this is great casting.

As far as it not looking like a Conan Movie, I wonder if thats soley based on the Arnold films?

I have to say I read Conan as a kid, and I saw the origional film prehaps a little too young. But my 1st impression despite the shock, and awe was that it really didnt seem like it was about the same Conan I read about.

I expected something more familiar to the comics I read, and it really wasnt. I guess I cant say it doesnt look like a Conan film.

My gripe is they shouldve done something a little differant, something completely differant than the old films.

I am a Stargate fan, and yeah i do like Ronan as Conan so far.
You'd just kinda have had to have watched Atlantis to see Ronan in action. Him being conan is a bit of type-casting actualy....
I'll defently want to check this out in the theater.
