BGM Speeding Up?

So I downloaded a few mp3s to use as background music to the stages, and they sound fine outside of M.U.G.E.N. However, whenever I go to play on the stage, the music is zipping through at lightning speed. I really don't want to have to search for all of the songs again, so I was wondering if there was a way to fix it.

In the meantime, I'll try to re-save them in another program.

Last I checked, this issue is common with normal Mugen, so if I were you I'd move them to Mugen 1.0.  They won't do it anymore, for sure.

It's actually 1.0 that I'm using.

Oh, well in that case, I'm not sure.  The Music will likely speed up if the game has been lagging, but it's only short.  I know that the Screenpack I used to use, Capcom Fighting Evolution Max, worked fine, so I would suggest taking that audio DLL file it has.  If that fails, then maybe it's your computer.

I was able to get everything to work. Unfortunately, I couldn't *fix* the files that I already had, but I was able to download from a different source. I used RealPlayer's downloader and converter. Works like a charm for anyone else with this problem who can't find the mp3s anywhere.

I appreciate you helping out and providing more solutions, Luigi-Master.   I really didn't know it was a common issue before since I seemed to be lucky when it came to the bgm in the old version, and that was at least 3 years ago.

Like I suggested, there's a crapload of plugins that Capcom Fighting Evolution Max uses, so I'm pretty sure that's what you're looking for.

Hell, you can just download that and migrate everything to it if you want.  VSelect makes migration so much easier.
