Man that was so awesome, I need to find an iso. That or buy it off of ebay.  I'm sorry but 6-8 months is way too long of a time gap to wait for the game.

If you can understand japanese then that's the way to go, but
if you can't then what's the point...you wouldn't understand sh*t =/

Some of the text looks english. But I just want to play because, regardless Japanese or English. I just want to play the game. XD. I'm like that. I have my ps1 modded to play japanese games, although that was probably a bad idea since later on they made ps2 and ps3.

LOL☆  XD

I have my ps1 modded to play japanese games,
Same here, i have my Ps1 and Ps2 modded, but i only use it for titles
that are -exclusively- in Japanese

(like FF12 -new ver.-, Ruroni Kenshin , Gantz , Captain Tsubasa or
Bleach: Blade Battlers for name a few)

i like to fully understand the plot as much as possible

Yeah I just got the CSO like 2 days ago, I had to upgrade my frimware to 3.52 M33 or something like that in order to play it.  ~X(
Oh well. I can't wait to get to the part where you run around in Aeris' church (I saw a vid on youtube), it's confusing because it's japanese but it's extremely fun to play. It is confusing because I don't know how to read Japanese, but when you got to he shop and you want to buy a potion, it will have a HP label, so you know that's the one you want to buy. The battle against Ifrit pissed me off but I realized it's easy because all you have to do is constantly use Ice materia on him. I like how limit breaks are done in this game because in the original FFVII you had to wait forever. I lol'd when you first meet Yuffie, (it's like on your first real mission where you run to that mansion).

The game is fun and it reminds me of FFXII a bit. I kind of like that new Buster Sword design that Angeal uses too.

About that.. I've found that, with a good .txt walkthrough, it's fairly easy to play through Japanese games. ;). My brother played through and beat the Go Nagai game for the PSP (Legend of Dynamic: Goushouden) and had no difficulty because he had a good walkthrough. (Also, I translated a bit of simple Katakana here and there as he went, but that was just for fun and to verify some certain speech :-[). So, that's the best advice I can give you if your having problems playing through.
