[CHAR] Reiko Hikari Post-Crisis Bugfix Edition

Lots of updates in this release...
  • Commands for some attacks have changed. Check the readme to see if your favorite attack was modified.
  • Incoming! was changed. Strength of punch determines the distance the item is dropped, and the item in question is now random (but it will usually be either the football, television, or piano)
  • Hadouken? was changed as well... the move is now called Reppuken?, and instead of the three fireball variants, all punches throw the bouncing ball projectile (previously MP). Punch strength determines the distance. The EX version was also replaced with a bigger bouncing ball projectile that moves quickly, and hits multiple times.
  • Did some more palette shuffling. Yes, again. This should be the last time.
  • Bob-Omb replaced with a Rolling Bomb which rebounds off the screen edges until it either times out or hits someone.
  • Altered the movement of the Psycho Flower. Flower moves quicker, but will now stop each time it slaps.
  • EX Incoming drops three land mines instead of a Thwomp.
  • New intro (Reiko gets "beamed down" by the aliens)
  • Fixed run animation. Also added sound effects and dust to run state.
  • Added a missing frame to standing C
  • Ultimate attack finally added
  • Fixed a bug where hitting Reiko out of Hyper Incoming would make her levitate
  • Style system added. This is only a trial run; if it's not well received then it'll get yanked.
  • New D-style moves: Roll, Dodge, Recovery Roll
  • New K-style move: Power Charge

EDIT: Post-Crisis Bugfix Edition released.
  • Bug fixed in K-Style's Power Charge which enabled Reiko to charge way too quickly.
  • Bug fixed in EX What's That? where the rolling bomb would go off-screen if Reiko was facing left.
  • Super Jump added to K-Style
  • Crouching Z becomes a launcher in K-Style, and crouching Fwd+C comes out quicker but deals less damage. Both of these can now be chained directly into a super jump by holding Up when the move hits.
  • Slightly reduced damage of all basic attacks
  • Pirouette can now chain into the Torpedo Attack properly
  • Style select now starts on a random style. However, you are now given at least five seconds to pick a style.
  • AI is now aware of style change and will use each style accordingly
  • D-Style's Dodge can no longer avoid throws
  • Fixed a bug where parrying attacks gave way too much power in certain instances
  • Fixed a bug where the AI would no longer use Incoming!
  • EX Incoming mines colored red, to differentiate from the normal What's That mine.
  • Opponent now actually falls back to the ground from the Alien Abduction super instead of just "appearing". The same thing happens to Reiko in her new intro.
  • DefenceMulSet not working properly; style defense multipliers disabled. D-Style was actually taking MORE damage, while A-Style was taking less.
  • Bug where Reiko entered a walk state in midair after a pirouette SHOULD be fixed now.

Oh god. Reiko has been updated too much! She differs allot from the first one.

Tried her out a little, I like her. The new styles she has are  nice additions.

The only thing I found (through some weird buttons I mashed) was that her Fierce Pirouette cancels itself if you press D, DB + 2K. It happens in all ISMs except K.

Umm, she got better somehow, that's what happened.

I like the Old Reiko.  She was more basic. But its pretty great that you can code all those variables.

With every major release comes a bugfix release shortly after.

  • Bug fixed in K-Style's Power Charge which enabled Reiko to charge way too quickly.
