i thought it was $270 and that was too much to me. i don't care if i have street fighter 4 in the palm of my hands 300 is too much for a handheld. heck ipods don't cost that much and they do more than play videogames

hmm its gonna be a while until that thing gets a price drop and knowing nintendo they'll be stupid with it and release better ones only to make others that don't make sense for more money. they had the huge ds then they made ds lite which everyone loved but then they made dsi and ds xl which were pointless and larger than the lite.

It's different, trust me.  PSP's was some weird convex slippery thing.  3DS's is concave, and your thumb actually stays on it.  Plus it sticks out, unlike the PSP one.

Also, I'm really excited to see Starfox 64 3D.  I think the original was one of the best games of all time, and the remake looks even more intense.

Indeed it was. I may be asking a little too much and it's less likely to happen, but I really hope that there will be an online 4 player co-op this time around. Star Fox 64 was the s**t.

As for the 3DS, I'll definitely be picking this up when it drops. And has the release date been announced yet, or is it still unknown? It'd be awesome if it comes out this holiday.

MGS 3D looks awesome. The MGS3D trailer was a full 8 min. of pure greatness.

, who bought those? The GBA micro was so small. The 3DS' they've shown look like thats finalized and just, set. Finished.....Why do I feel like I'm lying to myself as I type this?

because its nintendo. its impossible for them to not make a new version to a handheld.

One of the main reasons they're always releasing new versions of old handhelds is to reduce the chances of piracy. IIRC thats why they made the DSiXL.
