Bummer about New fist of the north star U.s. Release

Well after taking care some business today i went to chinatown to see whats new. so i bought the new Post apocolyptic game
"Metro 2033". havent started playing though.

I asked about that new FOTNS game and my Good ol Chinatown Boyz in the game store told me there wont be a U.s release.
so i im like Huh ?? I Forgot who told me that the guilty gear style FOTNS (in 2004) game came to the U.S. But he said that never happened. the license never made it oversees. Myself i already had a huntch about that. So when i was told that the FOTNS import made it here to the Us later i was surprised.....but yeh the guy said nah we never had that only the import. Which i still have.


so of course the ps3 is region free and the 360 isnt (although mines is jazzed up). im still like damn
ill be gettin a ps3 in time so i wanted to know the facts first. if this game is never gonna see the light of day in the us but on import then ill get it for the ps3. hell i have hella imports for ps2 so why not....

anyway thats my vent on that. ill still be getting it but for ps3 though. heh that will probably be my first game for ps3 haha


Thing about all this is the game comes out in chinatown Thurs this week....so im like damn.....after i pay my rent...ill finally be buying a ps3 system. haha

yeh pretty freakin much....i mean it still doesnt stop the import king here but im like damn ,,,, that would have been cool though . i usually only buy fighting games that are import and maybe very rare few adventure action games...

like that Classic Sword of Berserk game for the old dreamcast.

Nah at the time of its release it was pretty hot man. It was the First game i exprienced with that "cut scene" stuff u see in resident evil games where you gotta button mash "A,X or B" to get out of cinematic jams. Bloody game. Very long. and it was pretty tough...

I mean you can try it now and see the potential but if they were supposed to remake it for the new consoles the atmosphere would be like NinJa Gaiden on xbox. Huge bosses and a blood bath

Berserk wasn't bad at all for Dreamcast, it was actually one of the first good anime based games.

The only thing that sucked was the dubbing. If anybody says the game sucks, then they really didn't know how to play it and got butthurt from sucking at the game.

Yeh i always liked that Intro music of the game. and hell yeh the dubbing sucked...
i beat the game a few times but lawd it was no walk in the park

The part after you beat it and that skeleton dude rides away on the horse always left me like
"D@mn i hope a sequel comes out " haha

If you notice I said "I heard it sucked", not "That game sucks" (meaning I never actually tried it)

eh, it's a rip off of Mad Max anyway, and yeah that doesn't mean it won't show up on some emulator someday either.

I can't deny it's got of Mad Max and Bruce Lee Refferances, but I really think this game should come to the states.

Actually there was a sequel.... In Japan only.



As for Mad Max. Honestly I watched the movie, but there wasn't any martial arts or anything, the story wasn't really that deep. I feel asleep half way through. . HNK was hella awesome. Actually games have a tendacy of ripping off of it. I know Rolento from Final Fight is a rip off of some HNK villain, at one point Kenshiro did the whirlwind kick that Ryu did for his hyper in the SFA games. Law in Tekken 6 had Kenshiros costume. The settings and goon designs of HNK were inspired from Mad Max.... thats about it.
