game wont come on

i downloaded the game, but everytime i try to run it, it does nothing, instead, it freezes my computer for awhile. No other mugen does this to my computer, they all work fine, so i dont know what the problem could be, please help

How long do you let it sit on the black screen? When there is a lot of characters and stages to load, it can take like a minute or two sometimes to load the game up. It threw me off a few times too when I first started messing around with mugen.

it doesnt even do that, no black screen, i click it, then it does nothing, and my computer freezes

Perhaps try re-downloading it

or

change the video settings in the data/mugen.cfg file

or follow the memory adivce in the game manual.
