Nintendo announced it's new handheld: Nintendo 3DS

while I was riding in a van work when I heard on the radio about Nintendo's newest accounced handheld: the Nintendo 3DS.
I've figured I should share this with everyone here.

things I've understand about this new handheld:
it's a 3D gamming handheld Console Won't Need Glasses (I never have any games that supports 3D effects)
backwards compatable with DS games.
I would love see more into this handheld and might think about getting it.

Sounds pretty cool. I just hope they make it more powerful, in processing and in general graphics to rival PSP. The DSi was a great step it needs even more.

yea, for one thing, I really hope they added in a Virual console for old handhelds. (since most of the home consoles got their games re-released on the wii, why not old handhelds?)

Like I've stated to all my friends and relatives, I refuse to buy a DS until they support the GBA slot again... They would have made more money if they kept it. That camera is garbage... I've seen it being used and it's garbage...

On a side not, the 3D thing looks cool.

DS= Between N64 and NGC graphics.
PSP= Between PSX and PS2 graphics.
3DS= Between NGC and Wii graphics (*Confirmed by Nintendo)
PSP2= Between PS2 and a bit higher ( PS3 graphics would be almost impossible)

That's how it's gonna be graphic wise, It's just simple logic.
I'm interested to see what the final product will be, Nintendo is always creative Hardware wise.
