zsnes and snes9k netplay

Ok ive been trying to get the netplay to work with these 2 emus but it seems im giving the wrong ip adress out when i try to connect does anyone have experience with these two emus ive tried ipchicken and using the ip that they give you in zsnes when you bring up netplay and none of that works any ideas?
