I think the missed spelled mugen "munten" was on propose
so that somehow, nobody would mistake it for mugen 
he's not fooling anybody though

Well anyone in the mugen community will know that it is a "rebranded" mugen. Anyone that just goes to that swap meet to find some cheap  games probably won't have a clue or even care. If those people are not in the mugen community. Pretty damn sad but its life.
