A little treat for the Toonami fans.
« on: September 30, 2009, 02:35:09 AM »
Hey guys, I just found this sick dude on youtube, he makes custom bumps and random tracks, very simular to the old Toonami bumps (and Adult Swim too)

this takes me back.

All this video is missing is the toonami announcer :P

"Always ready for a throw-down"

Kids love it ;)

this is the guy's channel, I highly recommend his stuff.

That Toonami video wasn't bad... its just that it had a different musical feel to the actual toonami bumps of the past. It a decent tribute, but nothing I'd imagine would be on Toonami.

But as I said, the video wasn't bad, nor was the music.
Punctuation and capitalization can make the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse," and, "I helped my uncle jack off a horse."

92% of people have moved onto rap. If you're part of the 8% who thinks rap isn't music, sucks to be you.

Most newer stuff sucks, though.

What a coincidence!

I've been checking that guy's stuff for some time, now. I agree with you, Chi-Chi. He makes some pretty good stuff.

I should mention that his parter Razzie (www.youtube.com/user/Razzie16) makes some decent tracks and bumps, as well.

Mission complete!

Ahh, the good old days when Cartoon Network actually showed good cartoons.... it almost makes me wish it was the 90s again.

Yup, the 90s. Those were the days. ^-^ Disney afternoon, Animaniacs, Fox Kids, Donkey Kong Country, Marvel superhero shows, the works.

Since you're mentioning Spidey, I agree. When it comes to 90s superhero cartoons, it was one of the best. A bit crossover-happy and lacking Sandman, but pretty decent.

That said, I hope that Buena Vista will eventually do a proper DVD release of this series. Since all of X-Men is out and that Disney bought Marvel, this is bound to happen sometime in the future.
