Chill Penguin RMM

Hey guys, I've been toying with an old character to bring him to RMM: Chill Penguin.



The old version was made by MugenPlayer21 for EOH so its kind old and had some issues.
While this speed up the process a lot, there are which needed to be redone:
- basic attack properties
- CLSN boxes on the animations (and I haven't finished it yet)
- Inputs on the CMD

He is kinda goofy and I wanted to code a more serious ice themed robot, but I am enjoying working on him :)
There are some good ideas here but I will change some moves for him, while improving others.

Toboggan Slide

- Added some ice fx
- Now he will rebound if he touches the screen border, like on the original game.

Ice Shotgun

- All ice effects has a slightly transparency, like all other ice effects on the game. But, to me honest, I am not sure about it.
- Added effects when the projectile flies, slide on the ground and upon contact.

Ice Shield

- Added some ice fx
- I plan to make him to be able to thrown the ice clones towards the enemy, because if I am not wrong, he can do it on the original game.

Shotgun Hailstorm (level 1 hyper)


Something I want to add him: the movement where he jumps and hang on that "hook", unleashing a blizzard on the screen, as his level 3 hyper.


But I would need help with the sprites (3rd line on the image above, 4 sprites).

Yes, when Chill does the blizzard hook, the ice clones move in the direction of the storm, so him being able to push/slide them around is a legit move.

But only when that hyper happens or he can attack the clones to make them move forward?

By the way, the ice breath he uses to create the statues can freeze the player.

Chill Penguin almost done.

- Added intro against Ice Man

- Fixed the intro against Mega Man / X
- Added intro against fire themed characters

- Worked with Magma MKII on a new stage for him

- Added Ice Picker air hyper
- AI done

What he is still missing
- Level 3 hyper
- A better Air hyper for the Icicle Drill

I should be finishing him next week :)

Wow, I'm truly happy to see more Robot Masters coming to the game, and into mugen in general. Pengy looks awesome, reminds me a bit of Sub-Zero, and fits well into the series. Also that stage looks dope!
For many years, Mugen has been a passion to the Ninja, and still today it is. From 09' n' til this day ~
