My first MvC sprite edit! (Ryu Hayabusa sprite help also)

I'm currently trying to develop a stance out of Strider Hiryu. (DOA 4's Ryu Hayabusa, got the leg straightened so far.)

That does look really good,but you need to shade the white stripes and star.

Nah, I like it this way.

Anyone got their Dark Avengers Hardback yet? I got mine few days ago, it's what got me into this. We've gotta make Dark Avengers MUGEN characters sometime (Or some sprite pics at least.)

EDIT: Okay guys, this thread may have become another sprite edit thread as I post a sprite that is currently unfinished.

This sprite edit is also MvC. Earlier I said that I was making a Ryu Hayabusa stance. This time however, I'll be needing some serious help since the spriting progress has become complicated.

This is what I got so far:



The leg is exactly what I wanted. his stance comes from Dead or Alive 4. After the stance is made, I will be able to sprite edit Hiryu to make him look like Ryu Hayabusa. Any feedback will help.
