Full metal alchemist and FMA Brotherhood!
« on: August 30, 2009, 09:47:19 PM »
I just finished the last episode of the original Full metal alchemist. im not gonna ruin the story but the ending really stunk. So I noticed by diving into my memory that there is a second series called Full metal Alchemist : Brotherhood. I read up on it and the first 13 episodes are from the original series, then it continues. So basically does anyone know if im actually gonna get to see a true ending? Or is the second series just a rehash that follows the manga. What can I expect and is it worth it to keep watching?

Ill tell you guys one thing and please don't say im a sissy. But I was literally in tears on the last episode. It had such emotion on the second to last and last episode of the first series that it really let me have it. So im left with wanting to know how the heck this series is gonna turn out. So does anyone know if im gonna get further then the last episode of the first FMA with the second? Or am I just all around screwed?

Ok Im sorry so here what I know about the new series: Its sapposed to be closer to the manga. Ive seen the first four eps and i like it I  just aint watch because im still catching uo on naruto. There are twenty eps out. You can watch them on Youtube. (I F'ing hate that site.) Or got to funimation site.

Im going to look this series you cuz id like to know if it going to stick with the manga or stray like the last one. If they stay with the manga they got so much material they can use because they still write for full matal and the first series only used the first few chapters b4 it depart in its own way.

it could be considered a remake of the first one, with this one being more accurate to the manga source.
I should be watching this in my free time,as i watched the original and the Conqueror of Shambala movie and liked how it closed up

@Spidermew dude I don't use hulu I have a membership with rapidshare.com and I forum I go to has everything I need including anime. So for $10 a month on RS.com why would I need to watch stuff online when I can download and watch it either on my computer in Full HD res or on my PS3/Xbox 360?

Anyways I finished watching the movie for FMA and I really loved it. I got the closure to the first anime that I wanted. So im really happy now.

Now im gonna watch the second series which I already have on my HD to see how the manga goes about everything.

At D-gen im going to be making a full review for FMA and then FMA brotherhood when its finished so anyone interested check there at a later date.

All the deviants do video game reviews and Anime reviews. So if anyone here is ever wandering about an unbiased review on anything let us know we will help out.

because Hulu is legal and you wont have problems with it, unless your outside the U.S.

Well most anime everyone watches now a days is technically not legal so why should that matter? All the Naruto Shippuden episodes that scar posts are not legal because they are not obtained either from Crunchyroll (membership) or directly from Viz(pay to access early). So with anime it does not really matter the legality of it all. If you watch anime before it hits the states you are committing an illegal act unless its obtained directly from the publishers chosen sources.

EDIT : And unless you pay to watch it early (which by the dates of each post in the thread I mentioned.) It would still be illegal until it becomes free to everyone a week later.
