You may not know what I'm talking about, but I'm involved with a character that has delayed my New Kakyoin WIP.

This is a character that we all know...but never existed.

All I can say is that he wears shades. Nothing else. You have to guess, but it will be easy.

The reason why I'm putting this thread here is because this is not a WIP thread, but a discussion on this person with shades (It is not New Kakyoin.)

However, If this character is made and is released within this year, then 2009 will be known as "The Ultimate M.U.G.E.N battle."

I am here to talk about this guy. We will discuss on what impact this character will make with MUGEN. And other matters concerning this character.

He also had to be a sprite edit of Kung Fu Man (A possible hint?) but had to look original since Kung Fu Man had the "Elecbyte sprite style qualities" I needed (Hint 2?)

So far, his walking forward sprites are almost done, but It's going to take more than two people to work on this. Supers undecided, one special move already made, but the rest is yet to come.

He is going to be Elecbyte style (That means just punches, kicks, air punches, moving animations, and one taunt, including some special moves

I want you...all of you...to witness this event.

This thread may sound ridiculous, however, this is a big matter to me, and it should be to all of you.

It's going to start soon. The ultimate battle.

Now, like I said, it should be easy to know who this "guy with shades is." But this isn't a WIP thread, it is a discussion.

If you read all of this post, then thank you for you patience.

Now, guess his name, put all of the hints together. I will keep the title the way it is for the "surprise name" that you'll be guessing.

I'm gonna be very blunt about this. Suave Dude will never be an accepted creation because he won't be Elecbtye.

i agree , if electbyte doesn't come back to make suave dude . Then he will not be accepted . only elecbyte can make suave dude

Looks like your about to break an old mugen tradition:

It is kept as a tradition by many Mugen fans to never make a Suave Dude character and still one has never been made. Only a Suave Dude sprite exists.

But I look foward to having an ACTUAL BOSS character in mugen. With mugen being about 10yrs old I'm surprise no one has actually made a charcter that can mop the floor with everyone in mugen. Sure we have charcters like onslaught, apocablse, Orochi and God characters, but none of them "feel" like boss characters.

Just make sure he is powerfull enought to command and beat characters like the ones already created without making him a "cheap character".

ok me being relatively new to mugen ( 3 years now) i been aropund just a bit but never heard of the elusive SUAVE DUDE character. who the heck is he and why IS HE NOT A CREATED CHARACTER? WHATS THE WHOLE THING BEHIND THIS ANYWAY, CAN SOMEONE REALLY CLARIFY THIS FOR ME IN DETAIL?

[sigh] Suave Dude is the guy mentioned in Kung Fu Man's intro who sends his minions to kidnap KFM's girlfriend, thus setting off the story of Arcade Mode---KFM has to fight his way through a bunch of other fighters to presumably reach Suave Dude and rescue his girlfriend. I guess that somewhere along the line, Elecbyte decided not to make the actual character because of reasons I have yet to discern. Still, if Silvern wants to make a Suave Dude, then LET HIM MAKE SUAVE DUDE!

The phrase "Tradition is meant to be broken" comes to mind.
If you wish to do so Slivern then go ahead, you'll have my support. Reason being is that Tenspeed is right: we've been left out to dry by our masters to see if we'll learn something. And many of us have. Now its time to show our masters what we learned. This would probably be the best thing. Go for it.

this isn't the type of thing that you can just f**k up and move on with.

make sure you're ready to do some quality work before you devote time to it.

I saw video someone working on Suave Dude.

So I really don't know much about "Mugen Tradition", but I feel like some people will make Suave Dude in the future (yeah, we will see some different kinds of Suave Dude by several creators).

KFM reminds me of things like the cardboard foldout wii mote inside wii accessory packages. They are just to show off the game, and the only character value they have is as a memorabilia item.

but it was deff worth it. i also think u should go ahead n make Suave Dude. we all kno Elecbyte is never comin back, we all kno suave dude will never be made by elecbyte ever, due to the fact that theyre not comin back. Kung Fu Man needs his arch enemy like someone mentioned, so crap make him man, u have my full support, and i will be willing to help u out with spriting or ideas
