I may be late on this but I am really happy that he was casted as my favorite tekken fighters. Ever since I seen him in Tom Yun Goong/The protector I said he would make a great gordo and now he is going to be him so I hope this turns out good but on another note I'm sad that jackie chan is not Lei Wulong

Honestly, the cast doesn't look bad at all. Though, I thought the same about the latest Street Fighter movie as well, and we know how that turned out. At the very least, I'm thinking some good fights scenes will be going on in this film and I will be looking forward to it. We know the KoF movie will be crap, let's just pray they don't ruin this one.

The cast doesn't seem too bad, but with Tekken 1-6 characters in the first movie, you can already see how this is messed up.

No movie cast is gonna be 100% correct....well when it comes to movie games that have

of characters. I am surprised that the casting for this movie is pretty solid visually. I think they can get away with a mistake or 2. It can be worse.........

well this is gonna be great man! i pray that this movie be better than KOF. i mean the cast looks more believable in the tekken movie than KOf. the cast for tekken really kinda fit them all pretty much . well in at least cosmetically anyway. lets see if they all have that true to martial arts flair cause you know when an actor really has a good martial arts background then others who are just training for the movie. so far

of the cast if not all have martial arts roots in and out of film so that should make it an easy transition to the movie. And thank god the tekken characters who are asian are at least asian! so tired of seeing caucasians always put in the role as the asian hero ( goku to at least name one) . that messed up the movie and the chun li flick as well. just took me right out of it plus it was corny to boot. So since the cast looks solid lets see if the fight choreagraphy and writers works make this or break this. please , video game to movies adaptions dont need anymore flops! Movie studios and such please do our games we love justice, PLLLLLEEEEEASE!

They don't have Lei Wulong either. Lei Wulong has more of a connection to the main story than King. If King isn't in it, it isn't much of a loss (although he should be in it above Craig Marduk)as he does very little in the actual storyline or has little connection to the main characters. Paul HAS to be in as he has some connection to the main storyline. Jackie Chan as Lei Wulong would be awsome......but sadly won't happen. He is too big of a star for this film. Infact from what I read, it looks like the film is to be out by the fall of this year. So most of the shots are done unless they have to do reshoots. These 3 characters aren't gonna be in it sadly or if they are.....cameos.

Well the actors (for the most part) they have been chosen aren't bad at all for their respective parts... although...

Does anyone else but me have a bad feeling about the cast being so large? Don't get me wrong here, I know that everyone wants to see all the characters (considering it's based on a fighting game.) But all of those characters for one movie? Seems a bit much. That was one of the fatal flaws that the second MK movie made. They tried to include so many (of the then complete) roster... that the movie ended up being all over the place and in most instances absurd. They ended up having to reduce some characters to just cameos and one sentence lines. You didn't even get to see them all fight. (perfect example was Sheeva.. that was just sad.. three seconds on screen to do nothing but get squashed like some bothersome bug.)

I'm happy they're making a Tekken movie, really. I'm a fan of the series. I just think it would have been a safer bet to focus on a smaller cast, and save the rest for sequels (like in games when you get new characters introduced) So that all of the awesome fighters get the attention (and great fight scenes) that they deserve.

Am I saying it's doomed to fail because of this? No, not at all. I'm only saying that it's a risk. We'll see how it goes.

No it is not, Paul, King and Lei Wulong are not in the film, atleast according to imdb.

Okay so its missing 3-4 people. That still makes it about 90 % of characters from the entire series.

Anyway, they tried to do the same thing with the DOA movie by putting characters from the sequels in the first movie, however most of them were just cameos. Like you wouldn't even know it were them unless you read the credits. DOA has enough story to make a good movie game, but they didn't use any of it for the movie... strange that its by the same guy who did the first MK.
