How do you pause MUGEN?

I read a recent post where a guy had a problem pausing MUGEN with a controller... I never knew you could pause MUGEN period (with a controller or with your keyboard). Any help would be great... Thanks.

that's how u do it?!!!!!   and to think all this time I thought pause wasn't even available for mugen

This is what I did:
Ran MUGEN and hit all keyboard buttons, PAUSE/BREAK paused the game
