Looking for a good sprite editor

Im stressed out right now, so forgive me if this comes off a little harsh, Im trying my best to do what I can but its like Im teaching myself and im doing a bad job. I really need someone that knows what thyey are doing. I can make the character, i can draw the sprites but the big issue is I dont hav ethe money for a scanner. The only thing that is holding me back from completing characters is the sprites and I am really extending my hand out hoping someone can grab it and help me out. So if there is any good sprite editors that can do a good job on editing sprites or making custom sprites Id really appreciate the help cuz I honestly dont know what im doing.

If you can draw by hand, you could probably make sprites from scratch just drawing them with the mouse in an art program like gimp.

There's also lots of tutorals on sprite editing in the tutorals section, ive got a 6 part video that shows you what I do.

Also your not saying what character your trying to make, so if someone has already made a sprite of that character they cant show you cuz they have no idea what you want.

Its hard for me to draw using a mouse, if I had a scanner I could eliminate so many problems for me.
