Dr. Manhattan:

Really just a lazy recolor of Urien with CVS Sagat's head. I threw some gay particles around him because I couldn't think of a way to make him have that aura, and for the record I didn't really feel comfortable spriting a cartoon penis to post on the internet, so I left the loincloth. sometimes he wears one anyway.

Rorschach:

More or less a recolor of Q. I was really experimenting with the "right" way to resize a sprite.

the best way to do an aura like his is to just go over his outline in a bright color.
Like i do with this


Now this aura is only one pixil thick, but if you wanted it wider, for the second pixil of thicknes i would take an even brighter shade or white maybe and outline him again.

Also take out the pink background, it should work better.


You know you dont have to use sagat's head to get a round look, urien's head is only a few pixels out of wack, its not that much work to edit his head round.

Use photoshop and work with png... double clip in the layer and look for stroke or something like that or use this:

yeah, I really wasn't happy with Sagat's head (kinda looks like abobo from double dragon), and may experiment a little more if I get some time and motivation. I actually did do that lighter color outline thing with him, but I kinda wanted to do more. I kinda want to make him look like he's glowing.

Thanks for the advice on editing urien's head, I might give that a go.

thanks. I was dreading making the face, but once I started it it seemed easy. spriting is weird like that it seems. the things you think are simple are difficult to do, then the things that look complex are four dots in a pattern.
