R@CE 45's MVC Patch for Bad Darkness's Andy Bogard

Hey Whats up guys its me R@CE 45, and what i have for you guys here is a
MVC-style patch for Bad Darkness's Real Bout Andy Bogard....

My reason for making this patch you may ask... Well i was playing with Andy
one day and i was fighting Reza'a Terry Bogard and i thought,"Man i wish
Andy was made into MVC style with his Real Bout Sprites seeing that he has
yet to have any other capcom looking sprites... So after putting it off 4
so long, i decided to go ahead and comvert him over. I was gonna keep him
to myself but like always i decided to share...

What I have done :

1.Andy was a 3 button character but i made him into a 6 button character

2.He has mostly all of regular mvc abilities like super jump, gorund and
ariel chaining, and his specials chaqining with his supers and some
supers chaining with others

3.Also, becuz Andy was a 3 button character and now is a 6 button character
i made his special moves have variation in them, so they go from weak,
medium, to fierce just like the shotos (Ryu, Ken, etc.)

4.I also added 3 more super moves to Andy and updated his other ex special
moves so that they will be supermoves as well

5.Added new sound effects, and i edited the animations on some moves as
well.

6.I also made it so that certain special moves and super moves can be done
in the air.

7.I also rezized andy to CVS size.

New Super Moves I added
1.Super Gekihishou - D,DB,B,x+y


2.Tenma Hishoken - D,DF,F,x+y


3.Super Yamiabise - D,DB,B,a+b


for the rest of the movelist check the cmd file


What needs to be added
1.Air dash like Reza's Terry
2.Wall hit
3.Parrying
5.Maybe 2 more supers maybe?

1.Credit goes to Bad Darkness of coruse for making Andy in the first place
2.B.Easy for making another one of his awesome hyper portraits
3.Kong for his hyper back ground coding and sprites
4.Reza for his hyper combo finish snd coding and soon to come
some more coding from his Terry Bogard, and also for kinda motivating me
for wanting to make this edit for Bad Darkness's Andy

Like i said at MFG.

Wow man this looks sweet I'm going to give him a test run and see if i find any bugs. I have been searching for Andy's Real Bout Fatal Fury Sprites but no luck so far, maybe i can ask this Bad Darkness to use his to make an MVCR version, but i see you beat me to it. :P

Anyway, i just like converting old characters like these, it really is a hobby that i like.....

Awesome work, love these types of patches. Hope to see more CvS characters get the MvC treatment. Keep up the great work. :thumbsup:

   ;*)) Dude cus i wanted to giv him that move to giv him some air projectile move, i could have used the same projectile he uses  on the ground but i chose not to use that one, And i also renamed it to Tenma Hishoken and I gave it to him cus i thought it would be a good idea for a move for andy to have.... Dont ya think?.....  :-??  ;D

Andy doesnt really have any new super moves, he just has the same old ones so i wanted to be creative and giv him that move...

As simple as that, dude

I mean its marvel vs capcom anything is possible and besides i felt like if cable and ryu and the rest of the shoto's can throw them in the air then why noyt have it so andy could too, this way he would have a fighting chance in the air just like them.....

I made this version of edit of baddarkness's andy to be able to rival reza's terry and to take on shoto's like ryu ken and etc... plus to have a fighting advantage in the air....

So all it is, is a fireball super move in the air....

the other coding in there that is greyed out is a zankuu i was using as referrence but decided to just code leave it out till i could fix it and just do the supermove instead....

Great patch!
Found one infinite combo: crouching weak punch followed by crouching medium punch followed by crouching weak punch followed by crouching medium punch...
I'm not sure if you intend to fix it, just wanted to inform! The char is great anyway!

1.cloning after certin moves he wil create a clone of himself...and it's playable...whats with that? :-??
2.sprites for tenma hishoken arent...welll...great, seeing as how you used CVS sprites yet for the standing you use what appears to be MVC hadouken sprites edited. [-X fix PLEASE ONE SET OF SPRITES WILL DO ^^
3.small glithching cause of the clone allowing him to appear to be doing hypermoves in mid air...

all in all this is easily THE BEST PATCH FROM YOU AS OF YET BRO GIVE YOURSELF A PAT ON THE BACK
Final grade:A-

I'm glad u went and found some bugs in there dude  :thumbsup: , that's exactly what i needed for someone else to do, find somethin i didnt catch... I'll be sure to look into everything u said...

I would luv to giv all of his projectiles the cvs style treatment but the only person who has those sprited r jesuszilla and he doesnt want anybody messing with his andy plus last time i talked to him me and him didnt get off on the right foot at all so.. ya kno what that means haha...

my suggestion would be to use the MvC hadouken srikets and give them a bit of transparency for the HP hishoken and Tenma Hishoken and just polish up the LP hishoken sprites ^_^ :thumbsup: but still cant say this enough GREAT JOB will we be seeing a tag attack with Joe or Terry
