Downloading A New Version Of Mugen

Arright so my question is can I save my chars, stages and sounds when I delete my version of Mugen All characters Battle Zero and then download completely different one and then just paste all of my data without it going up in smoke? What Im worried about is the possibility that the new version that I download will not support certain files.

a suggestion post the data from your previous mugen into the next folder just cut it then paste

just cut the chars stages sounds into your documents or other things
