are there any risks in creating another account i have a uk one but i was thinking of creating a US one just wondering if theres any drawbacks or sumat?

Make sure you don't automatically login into your US account on your PS3 as a update from a different region can brick your PS3. Though to be safe you can update your PS3 via downloading from the UK playstation website with the PC and then update the PS3 via USB.
