how do you turn off cpu mode on characters in DEF file?

i need  to know how to turn off the cpu in tag battle. my friends and i always play 2-player battle mode and whenever i use mvc gouki, his cpu takes over control. i know that there is way to turn it off, because one of my friends did it before with wonder woman. but niether one of us remembers how. anyone else know? please let me know.

Most chars that have that ability have somewhere in the readme file (if any) how to change that.
