Almost everything is 16:9 now adays.

hey guys i think they fixed it i was watching vids in regular and some were in widescreen but they made it completly wide screen with no black things on the side

Why'd Google have to freakin buy Youtube for anyway?

Its because a few people who used to own the site just can't support such a wide expanding site where they need massive servers and that means big electrical bills to pay off. But it is really the Youtube team doing:

I actually have no problem with it because I do have a widescreen, but I agree that there should at least be an option to change it.
