flash player not working on firefox

I go to xbox.com and it always says please install flash player.

...so I've installed it, went on the website, and it says the same thing.
5 more installs later. nothing.

Anybody know how to fix this problem? This is happening to me on a number of other websites too.

It's working for me and I use the latest of firefox.

did you make sure that your computer has administrator rights?Because something similar happens to me when i try to install Flash Player into Firefox,the computer wouldn't let me even when manually doing it...also,did you check that it appears installed as Firefox addon?

you need to edit your .dik4 in the system settings.
