Wolverine for mugen question
« on: October 20, 2008, 02:21:22 PM »
This is a dumb probably question , but I'm not the biggest Wolverine player .

Someone help me out here .

What's the deal with Wolverine . It seems like I am spriting 2 sets of moves for him . Like I have 2 low feirce kicks , low fierce punches  etc ....

How does he do the different punches & kicks ? What are the commands ?

I thought the one sprite sheet just had extra sprites on it . Every sprite sheet has them both  . I'm confused here  :-??

Wolverine was slightly different in some games in the Vs series, i guess. That's probably why they felt the need to include 2 versions of him in MVC2.  :-??

So how do I make him do the two different movesets for him in an existing Wolverine foe mugen ? Can I put both move sets in Wolvenom or am I just wasting time spriting both ?

Yeah, you can have an extra punch or kick for any verson, the difference is how close you are, look at sniper joe, he's got 2 hard punches.

What Spidermew said, it depends how close you are to a character. I don't know much about Wolverine, but I do know about Morrigan:

This is her regular light punch:

This is her light punch when you're really close to the opponent:

See the difference? Hope that helps man.

I'm going to try out an existing Wolverine & see what the deal is . I'll try hitting forward or being close or far & see what happens .
