Noob Question, Just Started MUGEN

Hey guys, I downloaded the EVE screenpack and when I go to add a character in the select file, if i put it immediately after where the section begins that character appears over the selected character's face on the selection screen. If anyone is familiar with this screenpack you know that it looks the first slot stards in the top middle not the top left. My question is where do I put that exactly? I don't understand the "-/" lines either.

the / makes MUGEN not read it.

Does this happen with ALL chars or just the one?

u could be puting more then characters allowed in 1 row


or it might just be the character

Thanks for the help, as I said before I was a noob. I didn't realize you were supposed to add the character by replacing one of the "randomselect" lines  . If anything else comes up ill be sure to ask.
