The things that you'll need for this tutorial are the following:

When using the 2xscale remember it won't work at first as you have to adjust the .bat files to where you extracted the filter. For example, when you right click on the .bat file and open it in notepad, change:

C:\Documents and Settings\Amit\Desktop\scale2x-2.2-windows-pentium\scalex.exe

to where you extracted the filter, like if you extracted it to the C drive, it should be the following:

C:\2xscale\scalex.exe
