The game got guys from FF I, II, III, VI, VII, VIII XI and X up to now. There must be characters from FF IV, V and XII.

From what I read, it seems like it's gonna be similar to Powerstone instead of a conventional Tekken/Virtua Fighter kinda game. All I know for sure is that it looks epic as hell! Not bad for a PSP game, huh?

the lack of seifer and cecil upsets me.

I thought this was gonna be a sword fighitng game, so what's with all the sorcerers?

I dunno about Seifer, but I'd be willing to bet money that Cecil and Cloud will be in it. Cloud is the most popular main character they have, and Cecil's game was just updated and rereleased for a new generation to play. Heck, they even have "Warrior of Light" from the first Final Fantasy. It feels strange seeing Jecht hanging out with the other villains. I know he was a boss and all, but he was a nice guy.

You know, I would be nice to have a Cid in the mix somewhere.  I personally like the one from 7, but then who wouldn't to fight as Robin Williams? (Cid from FF8 if you don't already know)

And what about Gilgamesh? (yes, I know I'm a bit obsessed)  But seriously he's the only character which has made it into a grand bulk of the FF's and he seems to be the same guy all the time. He would fill the role of the FF5 character as well. 

It's just if you're going to make a Final Fantasy cross-over fighting game, then you should have the crossover characters in there... At least somewhere.

Anyway, here's to hoping it's as good as it looks

Just hope there will be Zeromus, Ex-Death and Vayne. And if FF XII characters enter the game, why not tactics characters?

This game looks epic. Damn, really looking forward to getting this on PSP. Completely caught me off guard on this game, just so awesome. Am sure Cloud will definitely be in there, but I really hope they touch down on some of the summon monsters like Bahamut, Shiva, and Ifrit especially. I'd really like to see some of the gals in here too, like Tifa, Aeris, and Rinoa. Would love to see Yuffie in here most, but they probably won't include her as a character.

Either way, loving all I'm seeing. Just really surprised they'd only release this for PSP. Seems like a bit of a waste since I'm sure many would buy it for any of the big systems.

I like to think of Dissidia as an All-Star 20th Anniversary Reunion Extravaganza party where all the Final Fantasy Veterans and Villains Duke it out to finally settle the Fan Debates.

All we need are the Female Cheerleaders and the Mascots Cactuar, Tonberry, and Chocobo, and Its like a Basketball game, play against your Alma Mater!!!

I think that is the case, I need to find the links. As for everyone that wants the females, sadly, I don't think any of them will be in it. I hear its just the main character and their nemesis. Also I hear that this covers FFs 1-10. But once again, I need to find links.
