The sprite needs a lot more detail, and the bg blends in too much with the hair... choose the regular pinkish one...

first you should do a captain marvel palette before spriting on the character ( i hops what i write makes sense.)

Your sprite is dark and very flat.
Needs work.
Try adding some brighter shades in the body and some dark highlights in the hair

Did you draw it? Maybe you should edit captain america or maybe even sagat or something for him.
Then you wont have to worry about screwing up muscle shade if you just change the colors before you work on detales like the costume and hair.

has almost no shading.....needs a lot of work before it cam become a wip

Hmm its good but there needs to be detail like the others said i like it no doubt but the hair and the chest thingy kinda needs to be a different color other then that all is well
