Setting Transparency

Hey there.Can anyone tell me how to make a color transparent.Im making a stage with two layers and i still cant see the background.Al i see is a pink sort of color.Can anyone tell me how to make the color transparent?

hey was sup for a transparent bacground color well take this for example

[BG insertname]<--------- wat u want to name your sprite
type = normal
spriteno = 0,0<---------- the number of the sprite and group in fighter factory
delta = 1,1
mask = 1 <--------------------------------make sure your mask is 1 for the image with the transparent color

mask = 0 <-----------------------------means that  dont want that clor transparent

in fighter factory you will see at the top buttons look for the one that says palette edit the color of your transparent color should be the same as the color in the bottum right corner of the color box

now if u want your image to be see threw put this in

trans = addalpha
alpha = 256,256 <--------------------------- u adjust the first number from 0 to 256 the lower the number the more that image is transparent

so it will look something like this

[BG insertname]
type = normal
spriteno = 0
delta = 1,1
mask = 0
trans = addalpha
alpha = 256,256
layerno = 0

or

[BG insertname]
type = normal
spriteno = 0
delta = 1,1
mask = 1
trans = addalpha
alpha = 106,256
layerno = 0

EXShadow, you should make a tutorial for stage making because i know you make stages and i might try making one myself
