EOH character problem

Ive coded a move that hits, and puts the character in a dazed state (5500), and then fires on them. For some reason if I do this move on Blanka or Human Torch they lock up, and stay locked untill reset. Other characters seem to work alright unless i hit them in the air which seems to make them stuck untill they jump down.

Is there a differant dizzy state I should use? and also is there away to put a time limit on the daze state in case the follow up shot misses so they dont stay dazed untill hit?

Also any idea why the get stuck in air if hit in the air?

i mean post STATE 5500..

Okay not to be dense, but i feel like your not giving me enough detail, I see no characters with anything called post state, and adding that to my code doesnt affect anything.

Never mind, I found a Lui Kang that taught me I how to to create a custom state to make it work.
