editing low rez screenpack to hi-rez???

I wonder if it possible to put hi-rez pcx to low-rez screenpack to make it hi-rez and how many colors does hi-rez have on a sinlge picture ?

hi-res is the same as low-res 256 colors aka 8-bit.

All you need to do is resize the sprites and realign.
