damn i finishes mgs4 a few days ago.. damn great game, way better than that hulk game and soul caliber, in my opinion

There were not any 90 min cut scenes, but yea the cut scenes could be lengthy. I enjoyed the game and it was worth the money I payed for it.

I just got MGS4 yesterday and it is epic.

I laughed hard when the Shadow Moses chapter started and I was playing that one level from MGS1. Then I laughed when I unlocked Snake's ps1 head.

Yeah, the only thing I didn't like was Merryl got with ...Johnny.

I mean wtf. He's a comedy relief character. I was hoping Mantis would have killed him in some odd sort of way.

 

If Hideo makes a subsistence type game, I hope they give Johnny the treatment they gave Raiden in MGS3:Subsistence.

I just wonder, how in the hell did he end up in Merryl's team anyway? I thought he was working with Liquid, because that's what they show in MGS1 and 2.

I didn't know terrorist henchmen could get jobs as US Soldiers.

I just read up a bit on the last mgs games and apparently Johnny was a spy in the first 2 games.... but that makes no sense because according to MGS1 there were only 3 outsiders, Merryl, Frank, and Snake. >_>


I like most of MGS4, but some of it just doesn't sit well with me.

1.There's not nearly enough codec frequencies.
2.Naomi died, which caused Otacon to cry and repeat some of his script from MGS1
3.Eva died too early
4.Big Boss died
5.Johnny lives (out of everyone who dies, Johnny couldn't have been one of them).
6.Mei Ling's new voice actress


Everything else was perfect though. For me, it's about a 9/10

Has anybody else gotten the assassin's emblem yet?

Basically you have to do 50 or more throat slits and can't get on alert any more then 25 times, and I was right there on 25, I had to do the last act completely without messing up one single time, because of those ratty robots in shadow moses. 

But it's ok because I did it. 

Now I get the assassin's creed outfit.

Yeah, I got it too. I knew it from the beginning, so that's what I was aiming for but I messed up two times. The first was on #37 (I got too excited to kill ) The second was on #49 (, 49 size font.)

But yeah, it's a bee-otch to get.....but it's worth it to see Altair with a gun. XD
