, I bumped it because to show you guys the new pics of akuma, dee jay, etc. in the link that's way man!!  I don't believe this game is released yet because I who be playing the hell out of it !!

i've always knew that they wont improve in the animation..this was no surprise to me.

Yeah, they already stated that they were never gonna add more animation, it's sad, but not too big of a deal to me. I think Capcom should have just put all their efforts into this game and really gave it a makeover instead of wasting time on having SF4 made. I mean SF4 is just a remake of SF2, but in 3D anyway. This also looks way better too...2D always wins in my book. I wish they would allow this to be on PC too. Adding new animation would have changed the gameplay, but it would have been interesting to see how it played if they had done it.

Personally, I don't care whether a game is 2d or 3d, just as long as I'm having fun, that's all that matters. SF4 has it's own things that make itself different from SF2, SF3, and SFA.

I can't say I really care about this project, because it's the same game we've been playing for dunno, 20 years? Seriously though. They should just forget about SF2 and move on with new things like SF4. Sure I will get this game when it comes out, but it will only be a time waster until SF4 comes out. Then the real party will begin. Also sometimes 2d fighting games are really crappy compared to 3d fighting games. I remember when they made Capcom fighting jam. That game was bull.  It was just a capcom version of mugen. At least SvC used original sprites!

Capcom fighting jam = laziest fighting game ever made.

SSF2THD remix Open beta leaked





Apparently so! Reports are pourring in that some lucky xbox 360 owners were able to download the SSF2HD Beta two days before its supposed release.

According to the reports, the beta was availabe to download for about 30 mn (a mistake?) unlucky xbox 360 owners who did not try to download the beta within that time frame are now stuck with an error message whenever they try to snatch the beta.

Few pictures have also surfaced including the title menu and the character select screen which allows you to pick either Ryu or Ken.

More info includes the win quotes of both Ken and ryu which includes the following:

Ken:

*Attack me if you dare, I will crush you!
*I need a better workout than this...where's Elisa?
*Get up! It's too early for you to be defeated!
*Well, at least you threw a punch...
*If that's all you got, it must be embarrassing for you.
*You are not bad, but not good either.

Ryu:

*You must defeat Shen Long to stand a chance.
*Don't fight for victory-fight to improve yourself. Victory will follow.

Congratulations to Xbox 360 users who got the chance to play the game this early, unfortunately i am a ps3 owner so i guess i will still have to wait.

ps: Ryu still says Shen long instead of the dragon punch hmmm... something tells me shen long might become a new character in Street Fighter 4 different from gouken, time will tell.
