how is arthur coming along Acey? though i do like arthur but i think he needs more moves maybe an extra hyper of something. it just feels like he missing something

Nope, Arthur's done for now,

3 different weapon projectiles, chest drop, rush kick and uppercut, that makes 6 specials not counting stuff like the trip, launch, throw and headbut.

Then 4 specific hypers depending on the weapon plus the other 3, making 7 hypers.

If 6 specials and 7 hypers aren't enough for you then I guess there is nothing left to saty.

Nope, he's done for now.

yeah on second thought ur right Acey...i didnt notice had so much in him. hmmm that makes me reflect on how i felt bout a lot of mvc characters.

I get what you mean though, he could probably use some more fluid animations, I:E more sprites...

IMT needs a full time sprite worker fo sho /:O

Anyway Arthur is a good character all around, I think he just needs more attention to animations maybe. :-w

For example...?

11 frames for the stance, 7 for the walk, turn animations, all attack have average about 5 sprites... hypers are well animated,







only animation I can think of that has a low frame rate would be the LP which only has 3 sprites, still the same amount as found in most Capcom made MvC characters... so what do you mean?

the guy was a damn helper in the original MVC. the fact that you've managed to make a full character out of him at all deserves major props, considering all the extra spriting that must have been done.

and by the way acey i didnt mean anything maliscious or mean by what i said about arthur. its not that he isnt a wonderful masterpiece. i was just trying to give a lil bit a extra feedback thats all. i do think he is a complete character though

it's been a LONG time since I played the original game, but is there a reason his body stays stationary while his limbs move in the walking animation? is it a throwback to his old games (kinda like how megaman turns around and runs away instead of walking backwards) or something?
