Helper problem

I have a helper thats properly coded for the most part, and it has hit code, and falling animations, so if punched, or hit the helper falls, gets up, and goes off screen.

Problem I have is when I fight Hugo, or other grapplers if they grab the helper, the helper turns into P1 and it leaves me with a clone on screen. If the clone gets hit, it turns back into the helper, and walks off. It just seems shoddy, how can I solve this, do I have to make the helper unhittable? or is there a way to avoid being caught in a grab?

get hit but change to state that you want

not hit by anything

My hit overide seems to look correct will the "hit by" make a differance?

If not I wonder if the issue is in the hit state itself? Hmmmm
