how do i install a palette?

lets say i download a palette for a character how do i install it?

I've never downloaded a custom pallette before but I'm sure it's not much different from setting a pallette for a character (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not in front of my Mugen Computer)

Your download should have consisted of a .ACT (Pallet) file right? if so extract (if still in WinRar) the pallette file and place it in the intended character's folder.

Now open your characters .DEF (Definitions) file, there should be information about the current charcter's pallette options; something like:

pallet1 = (FileName).ACT
pallet2 = (FileName).ACT
pallet3 = (FileName).ACT 

Alter or add an additional line with your pallet name and verify everythings in place (spelling, file locations ect.)
