Help me please avatar problem

I never put a photo I didn't find online as a avatar and well shinrahunter made me one and for some reason the forum keeps saying "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved." what did I do wrong

Quote where your avatar is and copy the url. then put it in the url spot of your profile where the pics are.

its in my pm so I sent it to my computer and then used "I will upload my own picture:" option in the "Forum Profile Information" under "joker.png" and then... "An Error Has Occurred!
The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved. " happens what do I do

Well accorrding to the propertys of the red x, the url of the x is
http://www.infinitymugenteam.com/Forum_345/index.php?action-pm#msg46687
Which means you never actauly downloaded the image right and tryed upload one of your pm's into the image thing.
Right click the image, hit save target as, save it. Then go get a photobucket account, upload it there, and use the direct url and use the (use off site image) option in your profile.
