Super Mario Galaxy or Brawl

I'm getting a Wii on Thursday and I only have enough money to get one game and i can't decide between these two I've read up on both of them watched reviews and gameplay videos but i still can't decide I want know which one i should get or if i should get another game instead of one of these

I have both games so I'll try to give you some options to think about, but I'm gonna assume you've only got one controller like I do right now.

If you liked playing Melee's Adventure mode, Brawl's adventure if satisfy you throughly. If you like to challenge yourself to unlock stuff and achieve personal records and beat difficulties, You'll like this game. If you've got a Wi-Fi connection, well, you've got plenty of people here that will be glad to rip you a new one, especially Diago. Although the connection can be laggy (a 1 sec delay reaction time), which can really get annoying at times.

On the other hand, Super Mario Galaxy does stand on its own. I was totally hooked to this game, I couldn't put it down. The levels are ridiculously awesome, the power-ups and gameplay mechanics are cool, and the game is rather lengthy. I'm the type to go for 120, and it took me quite a while to get them all, but the pay-off is way worth it in this game to make you want to do it all over again.

I guess, if you like to play a multi-player designed game by yourself then you'd enjoy Brawl. There is to do on the single player aspect but brawling by yourself just won't cut it in the long run. On the other hand, Galaxy pwns noobs for breakfast and is right up there with Super Mario 64.

Brawl will keep you occupied for a long... long time. Super Mario Galaxy is a good game to start off with though and really fun, especially if you remember playing Mario 64. I'd say, if you're not gonna have money for a while, then get brawl. The reason I say this, is because if you get really into Galaxy, you'll find yourself with 120 stars within 2 weeks. After that, you'll basically be playing the game over again with Luigi.
