Help! Noobie in distress...

Hello, I'm new here...

Alright look here's the deal, I want to make a character but I'm slow at learning the ropes of things. But before you say anything yes I got the Fighter Factory system but I just don't know where to start, I've tried watching the tutorials on Youtube but is having trouble in the area of converting the sprites into a SFF file. And then it's not just that there are also other things that seemed to be working agianst me as well, like:

-I have a windows 96 computer, unfortunetly I don't have the money to buy a new one or even upgrade it.
-I stupidly turned my Sff files into wordpad and not notepad, so when I try to open it the computer asks me where the file really is. This also causes my system file to take a long time to load, in fact I sitll havent had any success in opening it!

So if there's anyone out here that can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

for the wordpad issue:
select the file
right click
select "open with" option
in the upper section of the tab select "change"
select notepad
check"always use this program..."
apply
accept.

Before anything else, make sure you check for updates..

Next, in Fighter Factory, you should go to templates, and use "Elecbyte Player" template.. That's the recommended template to use.
