Did anyone else Grow up with Fox Kids Like I did??

I remember Fox Kids too. Back in the day the Latin American Fox Kids Channel kicked butt with series like Yugi-oh, Monster Rancher and Digimon. Then in 2001 Fox Kids was re-named Jetix (I think some other company bought it) and now there still are some anime series, but the actual shows are mostly Power Rangers.

I used to watch Magic Kids (only in Argentina until 2001 where they started broadcasting to Latin America, and then it disappeared in 2006), CN and Locomotion (Now Sony bought it and named it Animax, and they have really good programming).

a lot of kids here on infinity are youngsters so they probobly werent influinced as much.

Fox Kids in the 90s was great! Too many good cartoons to remember them all. I remember that when school was done I made a mad dash home to catch it from 2 pm (never could, but 2:30 was always good) to 5 pm. Literally Fox 5 was Cartoon Network of the 90's, but even better!

What about WPIX (changed to WB later)? Channel 11 if that rings a bell. Man, Disney had a great lineup at the same time as Fox Kids, like Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Tailspin, and so on. Man, wish I can relive those days....

Oh yeah Disney I remember Aladdin,Lion King,Goof Troop,Mickey Mouse and Many more.And I loved Looney Tunes that came on Nick.Sigh Good times man Good times.

Capt. Obvious does.  That was my Saturday Morning and WeekDay Afternoon hagout. 



It seemed only yesterday when I was watching Digimon, Beast Wars, Escaflowne, PR, Dinozaurs, Monster Rancher, oggy and the Cockroaches, Los Luchadores, The Secret Files of the Spy Dogs and BeetleBorgs.

Many cartoons today lack . Instead of stories with intrigue and wonder, we get of silly comedy. True, some cartoons in the part were silly too, like Tom & Jerry, but even that didn't go to the stupid-funny extremes that many cartoons go to. Okay, I do like Family Guy, but that's more for adults, anyways. Guess the level of creativity has gone down when it comes to cartoons nowadays.
