An old girl episode I still can't understand (no need to worry)

As I said on the SPAM section I'll tell a little story which happened 2 years ago and I still can't understand.

Here it goes: I had a crush on a younger chick (I was 17 at the time and she was 15/16). She was (still is) very beautiful but her attitude sucked sometimes: She acted as she had PMS all the time, had trouble with everybody and whenever anyone said "Hi" to her she'd answer "Don't bother me/F*ck off", etc, and would always isolate herself in reading or drawing manga. I was among the very few she could have a somewhat decent treat with. O.K. Somebody told her I liked her (probably my brother spread the word as she was his classmate) and she went nuts with me. I got a laconic message by MSN Messenger saying she didn't want anyhing to do with me and she started ignoring me. I tried to apologize to her (although I still don't know what the hell I did to her - let's say you don't really have a right to hate a person who didn't do anything but like you right?) but to no avail. During 2006 I first tried to talk to her personally, then tried sending her e-mails, letters etc. but I got no answer whatsoever. It even pained me to watch her and not being able to say anything. Common friends tried to find out the reasons for his hatred, and the only thing she answered is she hated me just for my existence.

Of course this is my side of the story, as nobody was able to find out hers. What hurts the most is that I didn't ever - and I mean EVER - do or say something bad to her. Everyone told me "Of course it's not your fault, but you know what she's like, you can't even talk to her without getting an insult". So I finally had to give up.

2 years later I can't get this story of my head (I mean I moved on, but out of curiosity I sometimes think about it). I still saw her sometimes during 2007, but never made an attempt to talk to her. Don't think I'll try again. But I wonder if there is (or was) a solution.

En mi opinion...

Ella es un tipico caso de una persona "cabeza dura/mente cerrada" o "gusta de enconcharce" en su mundo.

Bueno...
Para explicar eso un poco mejor (Ya que no se si esos terminos se usan en otras partes de Latinoamerica) es alguien que por mas equivocado/a que este o no tenga como defenderse contra hechos reales...

No se le puede hacer cambiar de parecer ni de una ni otra forma.

Por asi decirlo...
Es como que le digas a alguien que "X" objeto es de un color (Rojo por ejemplo...) pero esta persona dice que es otro diferente (Verde por poner otro ejemplo).

Podras preguntarle a otras personas que al final concuerdan conque el objeto "X" es rojo y puede que sea realmente rojo pero a esta primer persona que le preguntastes por mas pruebas que le pongas no entendera y se "encerrara o se enconchara" diciendo que es verde.

La verdad no se si me habras comprendido muy bien lo que explique...
No soy muy bueno para dar consejos o explicar cosas...
(Y a pesar de eso la gente sigue buscandome para saber mi opinion sobre un problema cualquiera... Raro no? )

Y mi segunda teoria (Que por cierto es mas simple. ) es que ella demuestra odio para ocultar sus verdaderos sentimientos...

Aunque esto solo lo he visto que suceda en las historias anime...
Asi que no es de fiarse de esta...

Seriously, this girl has psychological issues. Deep down she is unhappy and angry with the world and actually hates herself. She is obviously a manic depressive, I should know cause I am one myself. She needs to get some serious help or else she will just fall deeper and deeper into her own little world in her head. People fail to realize that a person like this is suffering inside and don't know how to deal with their pain other than just isolate themselves from everyone. There is so much more going on in their heads than you may realize so don't be to hard on her. She may even had some kind of trauma in her life that has made her distrust people. She doesn't seem to want to get close to anyone, but you should still be nice to her and don't take her insults personally. People would easily just write her off as a b**ch, but don't understand what is truly going on in her mind. She needs friendship and support regardless of what she says and how she treats people. I was once like her and I almost destroyed myself because of my issues, I'd hate to see that happen to her.

No. Creo que voy a optar por la 1ra teoría (I think I'll go for the first theory)

Anyways I don't plan to see her again. I could go visit my school this year but it's just a waste of time. Last year I had many friends still there, now they've graduated and only she remains there. And I don't think she even remembers why she hates me now, she'd just ignore me even if I went and faced her.

I tried, but it just HAD gone personal. I repeat, even during year 2006 I didn't ever answer with another insult. And I still don't hold a grudge against her. I was the only one who even thought something alike you wrote above, but it still didn't matter, she hated me anyways.

I sent her a message saying I still didn't hold a grudge against her and she returned saying "It's the most pathetic thing I've ever read in my life."

There are more examples like this but I guess this illustrates my point. Maybe I'll post some conversations fragments later.

Is up to you if you want to leave her like that or try to help her...

But you'll need a hell of patience to take the second option.
I have met a few people like her in my life and only one of their type is a friend of mine...
It wasn't easy to become his friend and isn't easy to keep being his friend but at least I know isn't impossible either...

If people don't want help it's their problem, the only bad thing about it is that she started hating me for no reason (or for reasons unknown). All I wanted was just an explanation or a chance to say "sorry", bu I couldn't even get that. And trust me, I've had patience for about a year. I still don't hate her but I dare not talk to her (and anyways I hardly ever see her due to the fact that she's still at school and I'm at college). Like I said it even pains me to look at her. Besides two years have gone by so she should be over it right now. Maybe I'm the one who has to move on. It's really no big deal, I barely think about it, just want to find out what I did wrong.
