Edit: ALthough I'd have to say that the weirdest thing that ever happened to my mugen was all the cmd files one time about 2 years ago went "Missing". It's a good thing I had all my chars backed up in like 3 different folders + Dvd's, or I would have been pissed.

Well I've done both multiple times for the past two years and it's only happened once.

I have about 10 80GB External Hard drives at home and i have only used 2 . My parents have 3 500GB External Hard drives which i don't know what they use for  .

Also i am glad you found your characters man i would have been pissed if i lost them all too .

Still I must wonder why only your mugen went missing, I think there is more to the story and deserve explanation.  Check your event viewer to see if your computer was booted when you where gone.
