when I patch my character with this tag system my partner color always stays as the default color.
I found this in tag system  Felicia MvC2 Style by MgBenz  also the color problem with the partner does not happen.
when I remove the code my palettes work normally.

Probably around the remappal controller. I imagine state 5900 is being overridden for someone and it's not taking effect as it should. Or someone has the remappal in their own states rather than the common1.cns, or whatever

Search out 5900 and compare it to the default common1.cns state 5900. If there's no remappal in there, you need to copy paste it in.

She have her own common1 with 5900 in it .also 5900 was the first thing I checked to see if I was overwriting something & tried comparing mugen 's common1 to mine own to see if I miss something up. Here's both of 5900 statedefs.

Welp, those match. Other possibles. What mugenversion are both characters? IIRC 1.0 isn't happy without sprite 0,0 to set the palette, this can cause issues too.

Also, no 5900 in any other files?

Palettes for the problem character actually start at 1,1? Fighter factory annoyingly starts at a default of 0,0 for its paletting. Fixing this one is simple but pretty obnoxious.

I found the problem I was using sprite V2, but I switch back to  sprite V1 it works fine now.
