No Zoom - I wanted to keep it intimate
superjump - yes
Style- Capcom Plus (Capcom on steroids)

Hi Everyone!

Here's a stage I have been working on for a little while and is one I have wanted to do as far back as 10 years ago but as with all mugen related things, sometimes life gets in the way. This is a typical stage of mine  in my usual Capcom "Plus" style (cartoony, but a few notches above old school Capcom). I was going for a very immersive, ambient and beautiful effect for a low res stage. while it is Capcom style, I wanted something just a little more rich and easy on the eyes. The stage is loaded with a lot of my own custom sprites and a few rips also so credit goes out to all of those. Because of the amount of PNG's used, she takes a bit to load but only seems to show slowdown when the fight first begins (intros) and then runs smoothly after that (and my computer is a POS so no one should have too many issues performance wise). The best way to experience the boatload of details is to use a flying character with infinite flight and look around. there are animations for everything including the rippling background, godrays, fountains, bubbles, water, ripples etc. There is also a timed event a couple of minutes in as a depth charge slowly floats to the bottom of the window and then detonates cracking the glass and causing leaks!

I added an ethereal ambient soundtrack also with water sounds added to the music to really create atmosphere. I am really liking how it turned out. As always, I will likely continue to tinker with it and will probably release an update down the road but for now, enjoy!!

The idea is pretty cool, but I can see several blurried sprites, which ruins the overall feeling :(

Thanks for the feedback. I was trying for an underwater effect so a lot of the sprites behind the glass are intended to look blurred. Sorry it didnt work for you :) I'll have to look into that.

I think he means the throne and the fire pits.

I'm honestly unsure if he would have torches underwater at all really.
