Using Helpers as other chars help

I was wondering if anyone had a tuortial on how to do this. Basicaly what I am looking for is how to make 2 helpers on the char that are always there and come in to attack the player in combos supers and special moves.  They follow the player around etc.  So sorta like nakarurus bird but they would also assist in combos attacks and such.

Not as hard as you might think. Code them exactly the same as your character. Make them enter walk/jump states based on parentdist. Make them attack based on parent states like so

trigger1 = parent, stateno = 200

Etc. It's just picking situations to do stuff. I would suggest putting all the changestates in the cns rather than the CMD, CMD gets a bit difficult if you're new to helpers.

Hmm so would you suggest to code the main char first then add them in later?  Sorry sorta a noob coder.

Absolutely code the main character first. You'll know how to code them better with an entire character done. You are kinda just coding a regular character, it just looks different.
